How To Sneak in Some Aromatherapy While Cleaning

How does cleaning while sneaking in some aromatherapy sound to you?  I do it with Fabuloso®  Multipurpose Cleaner Lavender Scent.  This all purporse, affordable, easy-on-the-nose cleaner is one of my favorite cleaning products.  You can find it at Walmart in the cleaning aisle.

Cleaning our house with Fabuloso® actually relaxes me.  Not many products can do this.  Many give me headaches or even burn my nostrils from the harsh chemicals – but not Fabuloso®!  Since it’s easy on the nose, my kids can get in on the cleaning action too.  For centuries Lavender’s antibacterial properties have been put to good use to disinfect, with the added benefit of calming and relieving stress.  It seems like Fabuloso® Lavender was totally made with me in mind and that’s why I love it. I like to think it helps to calm my kids down as well, which is why I let them pitch in to help make our home shiny, clean and smell fresh.

When I was a teenager, my mother would easily get us to help in the cleaning process. I can even remember the first time I smelled Fabuloso®.  One big inhale, and ahhh, I was hooked.  It was just that, oh so Fabulous.  I just knew the house was clean.  Helping my mom meant more fun, US time.  I’m instilling these same ideas into my kids;  help mommy clean up so that we have more time for family fun.

Here’s how I have the kids help me clean using Fabuloso® Multipurpose Cleaner Lavender Scent.  Depending on how much you need to clean, mix 1/4th cup of Fabuloso® with a gallon of water or 1/8th cup with 1/2 a gallon of water. Sometimes we even just pour a little bit into a small container filled with water, just big enough to dip a small dishcloth into it.

Dip the small dishcloth into the mixture, wring out all the excess water and give one to each child. They can wipe down counters, bookshelves, garbage cans and finally, any spots on the floor.  Besides using it to mop floors, you can also clean toilets and stovetops with Fabuloso®.

My kids love to help and I love when they do.  With no harsh chemicals/no harsh ammonia like smells, it’s easy for them to clean with the Fabuloso® lavender product.

Fabuloso® comes in a few different scents but I just had to try this new limited edition scent, Fabuloso® Multipurpose Cleaner in Spring Bloom.  With a hint of Magnolias and other flowers, it will definitely be joining my aromatherapy list for cleaning.
