QT Jazz, is an up-and-coming actress, singer, dancer and songwriter. Forget a triple threat, this young lady is a Quadruple threat! You may have seen her on “T.I. and Tiny” on VH1. She was part of the duo, QT Possie along with Zonnique, Tiny’s Daughter, whom she’s known since they were in diapers. QT’s mother was an artist manager, so growing up she says she was able to have a behind the scenes look at the entertainment industry. Growing up around many celebrities, she’s had artists as mentors including Tiny, Kandi Burruss and Tamar Braxton. She’s also a reporter for Sprite and does red carpet interviews for them. Recently I was part of a phone interview with the lovely QT. She shared that she has been singing and dancing since she was 3 years old. Her mother put her into dance classes and helped mold her into what she is today.
I asked QT if she believed that people are born with an “it” factor that makes them a natural born artist?
I think it was both for me; my mom saw that natural born factor in me and groomed me into what I am today. She tells a story about when I was a little baby in diapers, I was dancing and, she was on the phone and stopped her conversation and said well Jasmine is dancing and it looks like I should put some dollars into her diapers so let me put her into some dance classes before this goes wrong.

QT is not only a musical powerhouse but she’s also an intelligent, pleasant and polite young lady. You can tell she’s been raised well. She credits Aaliyah as an inspiration and she does have an air about her that reminds me of the artist that was gone way too soon.
