Who is as excited as I am about the Fall premiere of our favorite shows? There’s just something in the air when you know it’s time to escape your worries and real life drama by watching a show and getting so entwined in THEIR drama that you can barely hold your giddiness! Aaaaahhh they’ve got issues and I want to know all about it! Yes give me my juicy shmoozy tv shows! This is so me ready for the lineup!
There are the shows that I’ve been a fan of for years and there are some new ones I can’t wait to see.
Check out this screen shot with Premiere times this week.
The Voice premiered Monday 9/21 and it’s always so much fun to watch. I enjoy hearing people’s stories, learning where they have come from and seeing if they get chosen by one of the coaches. However I tend to dvr and binge watch.
I was a bit intrigued by Blindspot on NBC premiering Monday 9/21 at 10pm but thought eehh! Well let me tell you I’m watching the premiere now as I type this and it is a Must Watch! I am loving Jaimie Alexander who is a total badass and doesn’t even know it… Her eyes are mesmerizing! They go from puppy dog eyes to I’m a strong intelligent, kick your ass type of girl, eyes! Lots of action, good direction! A total must watch.
As much as I love my drama, I need some comedic relief as well. I can’t wait to see The Muppets premiering on 9/22 at 8pm on ABC. I remember watching The Muppets as a child and I’m so excited of the possibility of this bringing flashback memories of yesteryear! But be forewarned I’ve heard these are not the Muppets from back in the day. They’re more “adult” and so I’ll be deciding if kids will be able to laugh with me Tuesdays at 8pm.
Fresh off the Boat returns to us on 9/22 at 8:30 immediately following The Muppets on ABC. The son Eddie had me at the biggie smalls t shirt. If you haven’t watched this show about an Asian family who’s son Eddie loves Hip Hop Culture and is trying to adapt to his American culture, trust me they’ll keep a smile on your face.
On Wednesday the 23rd I am going to crack out the popcorn and more wine because I can’t wait to see Rosewood on Fox at 8pm! So Rosewood is something about an optimist who helps people in Miami and has health issues, but really just Morris Chestnut point blank period, that’s why I’m tuning in ya’ll! Mm Mm MM!
And Empire… cookie and Lucious had me like so!
Empire has become that one word you say and all the bright lights turn on and you just KNOW you’ve got to tune in! Come on Taraji, I missed ya girl!
Let me give a shout out to “The Goldbergs” and “Blackish” on ABC Premiering 9/23 at 8:30 and 9:30pm respectively. I do record these shows.. they crack me up.. I loooveee me some Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson, they’re my friends in my head! But Empire’s time slot has got ya’ll beat honey boo boo’s! But I’ll catch up with ya’ll, don’t you worry!
Now let’s not forget about my TGIT shows, Greys, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder! All Premiering on Thursday 9/24 on ABC, 8, 9 and 10pm! Shonda Rhimes is bringing it on and I’m so ready with a glass of wine. Kids be gone, cause Wednesday and Thursday this will be me:
Yes I miss McDreamy but I still love my other Greys family. And ooooh Olivia…. what mess you gon’ get into now girl?!
Those are the main shows on my MUST WATCH list… here are a few mentions of others I’d totally watch IF I had the time.
Shark Tank Fridays on ABC at 9pm premieres 9/25 – Love the sharks, the entrepreneurs, the advice, the success stories.
Once Upon a Time on ABC at 8pm premieres 9/27 – I haven’t gotten into this show yet but I can totally see myself being able to, if I had the time.
Grandfathered on Fox at 8pm premieres 9/29 – With John Stamos, looks like it will be funny, I will tune in to watch and let you know how I like it!
Dancing with the Stars season 21 has Tamar Braxton using her dancing shoes. Oh My God I love me some Tamar and so when I found out, I had to watch. She did her thang tonight, though the show did premier last week on the 14th on ABC. I heard that the other star I was surprised to see on the show was eliminated but I don’t want to give you any spoilers. Needless to say, I may be watching some dance moves this Fall 2015, something I don’t usually do!
And as if that weren’t enough there are a handful of shows premiering in October, but I’ll post that in a week or so.
Enjoy this Fall TV Premiere Week 2015 everyone!
