MedExpress has opened its newest southwest Florida neighborhood medical center on May 10, 2017. They’re now located in Golden Gate at 13005 Collier Blvd. As they’ve done with the Cape Coral location, they’re offering a welcoming gift to the community. The Golden Gate center is offering free sports physicals to patients ages five and up from May 10-23.
MedExpress is making it’s imprint in southwest Florida with this fourth medical center. With locations available in Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, and Cape Coral, Golden Gate joins the communities in which MedExpress offers high-quality, convenient, and affordable walk-in care. Later this year, they expect to open two more locations in our area, one in Estero and the other in East Naples.
Having used the location in Cape Coral more than once for family members, I appreciate the option they bring to us. Having choices for urgent care and walk-in visits is important for working families who feel the pressure of time constraints.

The center in Golden Gate will care for people of all ages, providing urgent care, employer health services, and basic wellness and prevention services. Walk-in treatment is available for everyday illness and injury, including more advanced offerings such as X-rays, IVs, labs, minor surgery, stitches, and treatment for broken bones, sprains, and strains. Local employers can use MedExpress for a host of employer health services including workers’ compensation, injury care, pre- and ongoing employment screenings, physicals, and regulatory exams. Basic wellness and prevention services offered at MedExpress include sports physicals, routine physicals, immunizations, and tobacco cessation counseling to help Golden Gate patients maintain good health.
